Friend Fight Again?

Have you ever been a situation where you and your friends have a sort of misunderstandings???? Well.. I tell you, it's normal.. (Now, don't get pissed already) I've been to that situation gazillion times.. [I just made up that number.. hahaha] I've been through those situation, a lot of times.. 

And absolutely alot many fuzzy, crappy things comes your way whenever you and your bestfriend(S) have some crappy misunderstanding or fight.. you start to think like, "What's wrong with her.. ? did i did something wrong???".. Sometimes you just can't focus anymore cause you keep on thinking about endless theories that your mind makes up.. Until it comes to the point, you are afraid to talk to your bestie and a little fuzzy feeling called "pride" exist.. You start talking like, "She needs to make the first move.. It's her mistake.. I didn't do anything wrong.."

Pride is very wrong.. It is a sin, to God and it can hurt you and the people around you.. Misunderstandings are normal to a friendship.. It is a challenge for you guys , to test how true and strong your friendship is.. It is a test where you get to see and know more about each other.. It is a test where you get to see if that person is really true to you.. 

Problems comes your way all the time. Like what the bible said, "Consider it pure joy" (James 1) .. God uses problems to make us strong and to test us .. Just remain STRONG and FAITHFUL in the Lord.. Cast all your anxiety to God 'cause He loves you and He cares!!!

And about the issue.. If you really care about your friend, if you really love them.. Then, "DON'T NEGLECT THEM.."

Don't leave them on the air alone.. Be there and understand them.. Talk about your problem.. Talk about your issues to whom it is concerned..  (Matt. 18: 15-20)

A Journey To MV Logos Hope

(I took that photo using the cam of my mom. SONY Cyber-shot 14.1 Mega-Pix)

That is the MV Logos Hope!! The Largest Floating Bookstore in the whole-wide world!!!! (Isn't that amazing!??) It has a Bookstore inside, An International cafe, Theater and some more...!!!! 

i really love the ship sooo much!!! and the people!!!

The best thing is the books for sale in the ship are very affordable!! Your PHP500 can bring you almost 4Books, it depends on the price.. :) The books are very good, they sell ATLAS, Recipe Books, Bibles, Inspirational books and more.. Over 5,000 titles (that's what I remembered)

(Look how we look.. Soo much with the laughing and smiling! it was really fun!)

The bookstore is sooo huge!! and airconated. . . (hahaha) i love it sooo much!!! The books are very addictive (in a good way).. They sell it much cheaper compared to the books you can find the bookstore (outside)..

This is the ice cream i was talking about.. It's sooo delicious!! It has three flavors!!! (Tada!) hahaha.. The flavors are: Vanilla (I think its vanilla.. I forgot, I wasn't the one who bought it on the counter, haha), Chocolate and mixed! I haven't tried the flavors on solo, i bought the mixed one! It's sooo delicious!

There is sooo much you need to know about that ship.. I will not reveal it to you... Explore the ship :) I'm sure you'll going to enjoy it.

Defining Love and Infatuation (part2)

This is the second part of my first blog (Defining Love...). I thought it be better if i'd finish it today (ha ha ha).. So... grab your pen[s] (if you like to make your notes colorful, like how i do mine =D ) and notebook and Bible of course..

Open your Bible to: 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

"Love is PATIENT, love is KIND, it does NOT ENVY nor boast, it is NOT PROUD. It does NOT DISHONOR OTHERS, it is NOT SELF-SEEKING, it is NOT EASILY ANGERED, it keeps NO RECORD OF WRONGS. Love does NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL but REJOICES IN THE TRUTH. It always PROTECTS, always TRUST, always HOPES, always PRESERVES."

LOVE is a strong feeling of affection.

• occurs in late teens, early 20's
• Happens with one person at a time
• There is no number 2. 
• SLOWLY FORGOTTEN
• PERSONAL AFFECTION
• Not based on physical qualities but it is based on the personality, the heart.
• ACCEPTS strength or weakness honestly
• Lasting and Growing
• The feeling of affection grows.
• Not threatened when partner's with others
• There is trust between the two =)
• Grows in total knowledge of the Characteristics of a person
• Other-Centered
• You care about others.
• FACES problems & seek solutions
• Never gives up even when problems comes their way. Seeks for a solution and fix the problem together.
• WAITS PATIENTLY
• You might say "c'mon dude.. That's old school.! It's 2012, not 1960's! One day marriage is in!".. But i tell you dude.. That's wrong.. 
• Waiting means your trusting God that He will give you the right person at the right time... Because the right thing at a wrong time is a WRONG THING.
• Breeds SECURITY & TRUST.

That's how love is defined :) That's how God defines love. He is LOVE. <3


Now, you might be asking "why do i need to wait? Why wait? Can i just meet my soulmate like now? Waiting is sooo outdated? What's the point anyway?"
Now let me help you with that questions of yours.. 


First, let us define what W-A-I-T means..


W - Will of God. God's will is PERFECT.


A  - Agape Love. God's unconditional love. (He loves you no mater what). Stay pure for He loves you unconditionally.


I  - Interest. Know deeply the person's interest. Know deeply YOUR interest and wants first.


T  - Wait for the PROPER time.

"I charge you daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, NOT AWAKEN my love, until He please."

You see the bible clearly commanded us to wait "not awaken my love" or "Do not awaken my love"

But why wait? why? why? why?

WHY WAIT?

1. Waiting is OBEDIENCE. Seeing a "potential partner" is a sin.
2. Waiting is TRUSTING GOD. 
1. Our primary concern is to seek HIM (God), not our future partners.
3. Waiting teaches us to be PATIENT as we learn to acknowledge God's sovereignty.
4. Waiting is submission to God as you allow Him to mold you until the proper time.
5. Waiting is an opportunity to enjoy singleness as a gift from God. The moment for every believer to grow in Christ and serve Him with an undivided devotion.

  As what Lisa Velthouse (author of "Saving My First Kiss") said,

"There is more God has for us during a season of singleness than just learning the art of misery and impatience"

Learn to wait. Be patient. God has a plan for each one of us.

While waiting we have to do some task :) or some stuffs. or whatever you call it.

WHILE WAITING..

1. LOVE GOD with all your HEART, SOUL, MIND & STRENGTH.
• I'd like you to answer these question (personally, just keep your answers to yourself)
• How intimate do you know God?
• How much do you spend time in a day with God?
• Is He you 1st thought in the morning and last in night before sleeping?
• Do you enjoy reading His word and when talking to Him?
2. Love our neighbors, brothers and sisters in Christ.
3. Keep ourselves PURE.
4. EXPLORE more.
5. ENJOY your friends and MAKE more.
6. EXCEL on your studies or job.
7. ENJOY your present gift of singleness.

"It is not a sin to desire for a future mate. It becomes a sin when it already strip our focus on God's glory and sovereignty. It is when longingness and imaginations fill our hearts, when discontentment enters our hearts and that we long for someone and fail to see God"

Now, let's take the topic "PURITY" more serious.. What is purity and how it relates to VIRGINITY. . . Purity means you are pure. There are no physical contact that ever been to you. 

VIRGINITY

• It is the quality or state of being CHASTE or NEW or FRESH.
• It is a gift and it is TOO PRICELESS TO JUST GIVE AWAY. You just can't surrender your body or virginity to anyone. You don't want to look CHEAP right?!?! Your virginity is too priceless, once it's gone, you will never have it back. And i'm sure you want to give your virginity to the one (right-one) who will stay with you 'til death, who is willing to marry you (to be your wife or husband) and you want to assure also, your partner will not sleep with just any guys or girls whenever he/she want it. of course you want him or her to remain FAITHFUL to you.. (right?)

Hebrews 13:4

"Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept PURE, for God will judge the adulterer and all sexually immoral."

SEX

Now, don't get disgusted or start any dirty thoughts. okay? Let me explain first why am i talking about this. Sex is not really a bad thing. God created it for MARRIED couples. Again, MARRIED couples, not live-in couples or young love couples. It is EXCLUSIVE FOR MARRIED COUPLES. Maybe you'll say, "c'mon. sex is fun.. it's for everyone, not for married couples only..  maybe that was for married couples way back 1930's, it's 2012! It's IN!" ..  Now, that is wrong. Sex before marriage is a sin.

SEX

• Makes TWO PERSONS ONE.
• It is the MOST INTIMATE EXPRESSION of  UNITY & LOVE.
• It is the proclamation of UNITY & FAITHFULNESS. And that is marriage all about, UNITY & FAITHFULNESS and LOVE.
• God created Sex even before sin entered the world (Genesis 3)

Sadly, people misused sex. There are alot of misuse of sex some of it are..

MISUSES OF SEX

• FORNICATION - sexual interface with someone to whom you are not married with. Now this is very common in the world today, not knowing it is already a sin.
• ADULTERY - sexual interface between a married person and someone to whom that person who is not married. This is also happening to our world today.
• HOMOSEXUALITY - SAME sex marriage. (Gay/ Lesbian Marriage)
• Genesis 2
• God created Eve to be a SUITABLE PARTNER for Adam.
• God officiates the FIRST WEDDING at the Garden of Eden

1 Corinthians 6 : 16

"Do you know he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her body? For it is said, "Two will become one flesh"."

CONSEQUENCES OF PREMARITAL SEX:

• LOSS of wholeness, loss of wonder, loss of respect.
• Tendency to REPEAT. Sex is really addictive.
• INCREASED TOLERANCE TO SIN. (John 4:1-26)

"Every actions we take has it's own consequences"

We might done so many mistakes back in the past.. you might have lost your purity because of premarital sex.. You might be in Homosexual relationships right now.. I tell you, GOD understands you! For He was the one who created you! You were never been a mistake! God planned all the days of your life! He knew your gonna FAIL.. He knew your gonna COMMIT MISTAKES.. He knew your gonna be LOST by your own.. He knew your gonna TRIP-APART.. 

That is why HE gave his only son (John 3:16) to die for you on the cross.. So that he could take away your sin and give you a brand you life.. So that you and i won't suffer for our own mistakes.. You were created because HE LOVES YOU.. 

God said only if we REPENT to Him and ask for forgiveness "HE IS JUST AND WILLING TO FORGIVE YOU".. So repent! Don't waste the grace God has given you! He loves you! Accept him in your heart, ask him to come in your heart and ask him to change you!

HAVE FAITH IN HIM! TRUST HIM!

It is not an accident why you are reading this.. God planned it all! God bless you sooo much guys! May you find your way back to Christ! HE IS WAITING FOR YOU!

Defining Love and Infatuation =)

Hi guys, fellow readers, brothers and sisters in Christ, people and visitors of this world!
If you guys, have a hard time or you just want to know what is the true meaning of  "LOVE" and infatuation.. Then this is the right blog for you.. (ha ha ha.. I hope this will answer your questions somehow) Behold, I will be your Love doctor for today.! (ha ha ha)




Before anything else grab a:

1. Bible ( i used NIV [New International Version] or you could use a youth Bible [Cont. English] or any bible you have there as long as it is a Bible [Old and New Testament ofcourse!] )
2. Notebook and A pen (anything you are comfortable with)

Okay.. We are ready to go!!! So let's start our adventure!!! (yey! ha ha ha!)

All people in the world has a different definition what love is, but let us refer to the Best book of all and the source of wisdom, (tatada!) the BIBLE!

(If you have your bible with you let's open it together! okay.. 1.2.3...!)

Open your bible to: 1 Corinthians 13:4 - 8 (NIV)

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always preserves.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away."

Such a wonderful passage it is! To help you completely understand, i'm gonna explain it to you.

Let's start with: Infatuation

You might say "What is infatuation? Does that thing still exist?", well.. Yes, my friends it still does.. It all begins with that. 

• Now infatuation means A foolish love or C-R-U-S-H. Yes, you've read it right. CRUSH. Crush, is far different from Love. (Now, don't react yet.)
•  Infatuation occurs in early teens
• Love does not happens in High School. Love happens or strikes when you are in your late teens (above), when your mind is matured already. It happens when your 21+ (but that does not mean you are 21, you are already inlove)
• Happens with Several People
• You can't love two or more persons at a time. There is only one person in the story. If it happens, you are in a relationship right now and you are like, "Ohhhw.. what am i going to do? I love Mike (let's just say that's the name of Boy#1) but I also love Kevin (Boy #2).. I don't know who will i choose?!?!". Well, that is not love. That's Infatuation.
• Quickly Forgotten
• I think that is understandable, let's proceed. 
• Physical Attraction
• You are only basing to the person's appearance. You can't just love someone not knowing who they really are. You don't just love someone because he has a cute smile, flattering eyes and a nice car, you will always based on the "Heart".
• Appearance causes REJECTION. For example you found out that your crush is actually afraid of the dark and you just can't accept it. And you stopped liking him, i mean your "TURNED-OFF" to Him.
• Unpredictable
• It's like "I know i like him yesterday but now, I don't know."
• OUT of Sight; OUT of Mind
• It's like you are always out of your mind. Your mind went out with him (your crush). Fantasizing, thinking about "OUT OF THIS WORLD CONCEPTS" about you and your crush. That is bad and it is a sin.
• Extreme Jealousy of partner when with others 
• Yes, brother! You might say, "Oh. That's wrong.!". No, it's not. "It does not envy."
• Arises from LITTLE knowledge of the person's characteristics
• It's quite the same from "Physical Attraction"
• SELF-CENTERED
• The concept of "IT'S ALL ABOUT ME, MYSELF AND I". All you care about is yourself. Risking the safety of others because of "YOUR WANTs".
• DISREGARDS OVER PROBLEMS
• This is very common with couples (especially MARRIED COUPLES, particularly Celebrities). Quitting their marriage because they can't fix their problems anymore, that is not Love. If that is love, you will fight for it together, Until death.
• BLIND, Based on Wishes
• Based on WISHES. Imagination. 

hey guys! I'll post another blog for "LOVE".. My head is already aching, i need to sleep. Maybe i'll post it by next week.. (he he he).. I hope i can do it by next week..
